My husband and I are divorcing and we are trying to get info on the 20/20/20. I have a copy of his DD214. He retired from the Army Reserves (he thought) in 1/1994 but the DD214 “RESERVE OBLIG. TERM. DATE” is 96(yr) 10(mo) 24(day). Does that mean his military time runs through this date? We married in 9/74. THANK YOU!!!
I have a question. My boyfriend of 20 years told me he fought in the Vietnam War. Now that he is very sick, he now states he never was in Vietnam, but was in the service.
His mind is very weak right now, so I would like to know what column on his DD214 do I look at to verify if he was in Vietnam or not. Under #22, Statement of Service it does not indicate he was was in “foreign and/or sea service.” There are all “0’s” in that column. It does state he had active service 1 yr, 7 months. Here’s a Marine DD214 question. My son is a Marine Reservist: after his first tour, his DD214 had the months & days listed in block 12f and then in block 18 the contingency was noted: “In support of Operation Iraqi Freedom etc., blah, blah, blah”. After his second tour that information was missing. It appears like he spent 364 days at the drill center. His unit says the the OIF ribbon is enough to ID the tour. There take from his Admin NCO & FSgt is that the tour is considered a deployment (Sea Service) as shown by the sea service ribbon and it shouldn’t be on the DD214. They also say that his first DD214 was flawed, needing the foreign service info removed with a DD215. Whether it is filled out under MARCOPSEPMAN or AR635-5; it’s a still a DOD form and should accurately reflect what happened during the period of active duty. Are there recently deployed Marines with a DD214 that can take sides on this? Maybe an Admin Marine with an answer? SECNAV, you can weigh in on this anytime! Being an old Army dawg, I just don’t get it.

Новый способ “наказать” тех, кто посмел участвовать в выборной кампании не на стороне действующей власти изобрели правоохранительные органы г.о. Химки.
Руководствуясь не нормой закона, а чьей-то “волей” сотрудники милиции решили “проверить” все фирмы, внесшие денежные средства в избирательный фонд неудобных кандидатов.
Начались “проверки” с телефонных звонков – где директор, сколько человек работает на фирме. После чего последовали “письма счастья” с просьбой предоставить всю бухгалтерскую документацию, учредительные документы фирмы, и даже, план экспликации БТИ.
Такие запросы химкинским фирмам рассылает 1 отдел Оперативно-розыскной части № 9 Управления по налоговым преступлениям ГУВД Московской области за подписью начальника подполковника милиции Д.В. Языкова.
И всё это в то время, когда Президент дал прямое указание правоохранительным органам о прекращении всех незаконных проверок малого и среднего бизнеса. С это целью внесены изменения в Федеральный закон “О милиции” – из статьи 11 этого закона исключены пункты 25 и 35, на основании которых ранее правоохранительные органы имели право проверять финансово-хозяйственную деятельность предприятий.
Видно, об изменениях действующего законодательства местные правоохранительные органы не уведомлены. И не смотрят телепередачи с выступлениями Президента.
Может быть, эта публикация подвигнет их к исполнению указаний Президента, а также к изучению и соблюдению действующего законодательства
